My 45-year-old transitional-style, frame home needed an upgrade of its siding and windows. The siding was showing its age and had been discontinued by the manufacturer decades ago, and the generic windows were also showing their age and needed to be replaced with better quality, more energy-efficient windows. I decided that I wanted the house resided with Hardie plank siding and I requested quotes from several authorized Hardie dealers in the area. After reviewing the proposed scopes of work and the cost, I found that the proposed scope of work from Carolina Exterior’s salesman, Andy Tart, made the most sense and was the most reasonably priced. The project was supervised by Project Manager, Lewis White, and was done promptly and very professionally. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and the overall quality of the siding work. I was so pleased with the siding installation that I requested quotes to replace windows, again getting bids from several contractors in my area to install Marvin Elevate windows. Carolina Exteriors prevailed on the window installation project as well and was awarded the contract. Their installation was excellent and they were able to retain the original interior window trim, which is unique to my home. With the windows and siding replaced, I wanted to have my crawl space encapsulated, and a roof built over my entryway porch. Naturally, I thought of Carolina Exteriors, so I asked Andy if they did these types of projects. I was somewhat disappointed to learn that Carolina Exteriors does not do these projects, but they offered recommendations for contractors who do. I have selected their recommended contractor for crawl space encapsulation among several that I requested quotes from. I am sincerely grateful that Carolina Exteriors has been willing to share their expertise in recommending others for work that I would like to have done. My experience with Andy Tart has been outstanding. He is very professional, highly knowledgeable, and extremely personable. He answers inquiries promptly. Their work quality is excellent. I have several neighbors that have used them and everyone is very complimentary. For those reasons they are very busy. You will need to be patient in getting the job started and finished. The end result is well worth it.

After each phase of the work, your project manager walked the entire house with you and you looked at every detail. If there was any concern it was taken care of with a can-do attitude. From working with Kevin on the sales team during the bidding process to working with project manager Mark and his crew, I was both impressed by and pleased with Carolina Exteriors.
